Marketing Assistant/Copywriter/News Writer Wanted

DOTmed.com is looking for a Marketing Assistant/Copywriter/News Writer:

DOTmed.com is a dynamic and leading medical equipment marketplace – we’re a cross between eBay and craigslist. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with a passion for marketing and writing who wants to grow with a growing company.

We are entrepreneurial, not corporate. You need to consider yourself “creative,” be a strong writer, and you have to be able to “connect the dots.”

This is a true multi-tasking position. You will be working in a very fast-paced environment. No telecommuting for this one – you will show up in our lower Manhattan offices every morning. If you’re outside of the tri-state region, sorry, but don’t bother.

You will contribute ideas, and also do grunt work, on our marketing programs. You will write content for our website, create emails, and write for and help coordinate our monthly print magazine and weekly online news.

The better you know your way around the Internet, the more we will like you.

1-3 years experience in marketing, as a copywriter, as a news writer, or project coordinator – and preferable a combination of the above – will get you bonus points. You will have a chance to contribute more, learn more, and do more here than anywhere else. The pay is entry-level, but the upside is terrific.

You must attach writing samples or links to the same, and submit them with your cover letter – which better not be boring – and your resume, which should be terse, compact, and show an economy of style.

If you think you have talent and what a chance to use it, write to us. We’re ready to hire immediately.
