What you will be doing!
- Coordinate online media outreach and viral campaigns to promote messaging that drives traffic to the site by establishing and cultivating positive relationships with key/targeted bloggers, by submitting company information to key websites and online bulletin boards, through specialty news posts, webzines, podcasts, etc.
- Develop and manage pages on popular consumer social networking websites including LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Second Life, MySpace, etc., as well as popular Real Estate Industry social networking sites intended to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to the site.
- Coordinate social media activities by actively engaging in consumer and industry blogs, video sharing, online chats, wikis, etc., messaging and increase brand awareness resulting in driving traffic to the site.
- Monitor and identify new media trends and provide insights on the latest trends that can help enhance the perceptions and visibility of our brand.
- Oversee online initiatives, collaborating with PR agency on online outreach
- Coordinate new media PR strategies
- Recommend digital PR strategies
Qualifications!
- 3 yrs+ relevant experience, including combination of PR, marketing or journalism background with digital media focus and project management experience.
- A command of both new media and traditional PR tools and strategies and a track record of successful B2C and B2B campaigns.
- Track record of success managing online PR and/or broader marketing campaigns. If broader online marketing, must have ability to apply online marketing experience to PR the realm.
- A proficient writer and editor, able to contribute to the agency’s blog and generate correspondence on digital media initiatives to staff and clients.
