Bloggers/ Contract Writers Wanted

We’re currently assembling a remarkable team of Bloggers/Contract writers. We need talented writers who enjoy writing articles of varying lengths on a variety of topics related to business and marketing.

Our ideal Blogger/Contract writer will have an easy-to-read yet informative, motivational and distinct writing style that will be able to engage, entertain and appeal to a large readership base.
Requirements:
- Verifiable experience demonstrating strong writing and editing skills (preferably online)
- Experience with online communities and conversational/social marketing space
- Knowledge and understanding of current editing, authoring tools and related blog technologies
- Basic understanding of SEO/SEM practices and principles
- Effectively manages time and schedules
- Works independently and as a team member
- Computer and internet connectivity access

Compensation:
Professional Bloggers/Contract writers are paid on a per blog post or job basis. Pay varies for blogs and contract writing and is also dependent on how much writing is needed.

PC World Looking for an Experienced Blogger

PC World is looking for an Experienced Blogger:

PC World is looking for experienced part-time bloggers to contribute mornings to
PCWorld.com’s Today@PCWorld blog.

Pay is $15 a blog entry (150-200 words) with the expectation of filing 5-8 blogs entries each week. Bloggers can earn more after a 30-day tryout.

The goal is to create daily blog entries covering the consumer technology world.

We are especially interested in experienced bloggers who have an area of expertise such as Microsoft, Computer Security, Tech Legislation.

Ideal blog entries range from hardware and software news announcements to first-person perspectives on the day’s headlines such as privacy breeches, product/service announcements, or proposed tech-related legislation.

Bloggers would receive blog assignments and also be expected to pitch their own ideas.

Qualifications:
* Excellent writing and reporting skills: prose with flair and a dash of
humor too
* An analytical mind: the ability to read between the numbers and tell a
story
* Love of technology: interest in all things technology from games,
gadgets, culture, and news
* Internet savvy: ability to spot stories, trends, and communicate a
unique perspective

Bloggers work remotely, however would be in close contact with Boston-based PC World editors.
