Daily Soccer Blog is looking for Passionate Soccer Bloggers:
We are looking for several passionate, opinionated and generally soccer-mad bloggers to produce high-quality content for our soon-to-be-relaunched blog.
You will be familiar with using WordPress and be able to produce several well-written articles every week, including:
- match preview articles for televised fixtures (approx 250-300 words)
- feature articles which are relevant to stories in the news. E.g. Kaka to Man City could inspire an article such as “Top 10 Most Expensive World Transfers” etc.
- opinion columns where you can express your views (or vent your anger!) at what is going on in the world of soccer
While the English Premiership and Champions League are desirable subjects, please also apply if you have expertise on other leagues, e.g. Spain, Italy, Germany etc.
Guidance and ideas will be provided for some required articles but candidates will also be expected to come up with their own material and be able to work confidently with as little assistance as possible.
Preference will also be given to candidates who have links with other blogs, forums etc as some promotion for the content you produce will also be required from time to time.
The positions are paid (per article), so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience and build a strong portfolio of soccer writing, but also earning some money at the same time!
