HelloWestTravel.com is an online trade magazine published by Logimonde Inc. The magazine features the latest travel industry news for the Western Canada region (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba) and is published twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

HelloWestTravel.com and Logimonde Inc. are seeking Freelance Journalists in Vancouver to cover travel industry events.

We are seeking up-and-coming freelancers with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience, possessing a pleasant demeanour, high energy levels and a professional appearance. Please note, this is an entry-level to intermediate-level position.

You have proven your ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines, and are driven to go above and beyond to get the scoop on the news. You’re a high-energy, motivated person who is not afraid to go out and seek the story, instead of waiting for the story to come to you. You have a good work ethic and take pride in your work – because if you don’t, then you’re not the right person for us.

You must have access to a reliable vehicle, access to a digital camera (entry-level professional camera preferred), and voice recorder. All equipment should be up-to-date and in good working order.
