About the Company:
We are an exciting internet career portal that is focused on inspiring people to find their career passion. About the position:
This is a paid telecommuting contract position.
The position primarily involves writing people profiles through interviews in a pre-defined format. The profiles have to be inspiring through stories and anecdotes that enable the reader to connect to the person and of course have factual details about the career. The ideal candidate has the following skills:
• Connections in the govt, healthcare and finance sectors will be a BIG PLUS
• Writing Ability: Able to interview effectively and then write inspirational profiles to showcase on the site; someone who can write like Terri Gross interviews would be perfect!
• Networking: Has a large social network online through facebook, twitter etc that can be taped into for the profiles; OR is not shy to find the people to profile
• Gets social networking
• Work ethic: can deliver content on time; keeps all appointments; takes critiques well
• Education: journalism or marketing degree is preferred
• Must be a legal US citizen to apply
