The site, CityBuzz.Com is in need of a travel writer familiar with the Boston lifestyle and nightlife.

CityBuzz.com is looking for bloggers in Boston to post on the upscale, cool restaurants, nightlife, entertainment, shopping, sightseeing, and hotels. We are looking for people who can write 10 posts per month, covering at least one post in each topic. As we are a small team with many cities, we need writers who have a discerning eye and require little to no editing. The bloggers need to write in a professional manner with a hint of personality (No “I’s”). The target audience is sophisticated yet trendy 25-55 year olds so the writing style and topic selection needs to reflect the demographic.

We are looking for someone with witty prose and a unique perspective on fashion trends and New York City. Knowledge of (or previous travels to) Milan, Hong Kong or Bombay is a plus. Scope of work may include interviewing and writing articles about our featured designers/ateliers. Your work will be showcased in both our company’s website and blog.

Workflow may include several short articles/posts every month. Compensation is negotiated on an individual basis (based on writer’s prior experience and our scope of work).

Short Article Writer

This Toronto based company is looking for writers, someone who is knowledgeable about current events:

We are a Toronto-based translation firm, seeking a writer to craft short (about 250 words), pertinent articles based on global current events, giving them a strong “translation-focused” spin.
