Description
This opportunity is a freelance position, aimed toward established personal finance writers/bloggers who are interested in producing at least 15 articles per month (600 -800 words each) revolving around the Australian insurance, personal finance, and banking industries. Starting rate is $25 per article. Writers are expected to provide the URL of at least one image per post, selecting images from resources approved by the editors.
Due to continued expansion we’re now seeking several new writers to provide material for our largely Australian audience – though candidates may live anywhere in the world. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate finance writer to be part of a large, rapidly-growing blog network with great potential.
The successful candidate should…
* Be passionate about all things personal finance and money
* Ideally, be Australian – or have a strong working knowledge of Australian personal finance
* Have a firm understanding of personal finance related topics and be able to relay those ideas clearly and creatively in writing
* Be able to effectively utilize social media sites and tools like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, etc. in order to promote your content
* Have a unique writing style that encompasses strong research and technical writing abilities, as well as maintaining personal style and voice
*Be capable of sticking to agreed deadlines and standards
*Be experienced in WordPress platforms for article publication
*Be available for additional work as our network expands
