American How-to is interested in finding a lead blogger who can help establish the voice of a crafts site and develop its audience. Only applicants who have an understanding of how to conceive and optimize content for search engines and social media outlets (Facebook, Digg, Reddit) will be seriously considered. Daily posts will be informative and occasionally humorous. While this is a part-time job, your role may grow with the site, including editing other writers’ work. Coaching members of the community will also be a regular part of the day-to-day. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications include:
- At least two years of experience writing about crafts online.
- A knack for working on your own and being a self-starter.
- Experience negotiating traffic-trading deals with partner sites.

Job available for those willing to write “adult” materials. Description is listed below:
The successful applicant will connect to our corporate custom website, view short adult movie clips, and write titles and short descriptions based on the action in the movie clip. Both movies and titles/descriptions will be adult oriented and graphic. This is a part time job, flexible hours and suits a perfectly fluent english speaker, comfortable with graphic adult content with a creative streak for writing titles and descriptions. Expected hours will be approximately 1 – 2 days a week. Descriptions will be paid as contract piece work $0.10 USD per description.

This is a part time position that does require deadlines to be met
