VikiTech is an upcoming Tech blog which is rapidly making inroads into Internet Tech savvy users’ daily reading. We write about a large range of Personal technology topics, but our main focus is on Technology News, Windows OS, Software Reviews, Web Apps, How-to Guides, Tutorials Mobile coverage.

With over 10k Rss and EMail subscribers and over 25k Facebook Fans within a year, we strike a chord with our readers.

We are looking to expand our footprint in the highly dynamic and competitive domain of Tech blogging by bringing in a new writers who are passionate about technology and have expertise in this field.

We are also specifically looking for a writer to cover Android mobile platform. The Ability to cover iOS (iPhone, iPad, etc.) apps is a definite plus.

Expectations from Applicants for Personal Technology Blogger position:

- Passionate about new technologies ( Windows OS, Mobile Apps and OS, Software, Web applications etc.); and excellent knowledge of the world of the Internet and social networks.

- Ability to thoroughly cover a wide variety of topics in detail in precise and easy-to-understand manner.

Expectations from Applicants for Mobile Blogger position:

- Must own an Android mobile device, preferably with the recently released Android OS. (iOS device is optional and gets definite plus points, since we cover that section as well)

- Should have a drive to explore the mobile platform and try out the latest features and apps. The writer should bring new ideas and perspective to the table .

- Ability to write App reviews, how-to articles and news updates.

- Should be able to write detailed app reviews looking at the positive and negative features with a critical eye.

General expectations from Applicants:

- Very good editing skills with experience in running a personal or professional blog recognized in its field. (Having own blog is not necessary, in that case your work should have been published on other blogs.)

- Excellent written communication skills, articulate and proactive.

- Ability to work independently and in a team with minimum supervision.

- Candidate must be a self-starter and result oriented.

Personal Professional Attributes:

The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years experience in online content publishing, social networking, with a passion for helping people by writing informative articles.

Should have basic knowledge/skills of:

- WordPress CMS publishing
- Google Analytics metrics analysis
- Understanding of SEO
- Multimedia production / editing including photo, audio video
- Market and data-driven topic research
- Proficient social sharing skills
- Developing personal professional relation on Twitter and Facebook

We are looking for an experienced blog writer to create “all new and original” content for our site Furniture Fashion found @ www.furniturefashion.com . We will need 2 posts per day for a total of 60 a month. Our budget is set for $10 US dollars per post and we want the articles to range in length from 150-300 words depending on the subject matter and information available. The articles and images will need to be uploaded and scheduled on to our Word Press control panel. We want factual information on the products we review to attract people doing research and looking to buy these home furnishing related items.

1. Only cover products that can be purchased. No prototypes, drawings, models etc. Include pricing, sizes and links to places where items are for sale where applicable.
2. All original products and stories. We expect you to browse for new products and write the story. We do not want to cover products that were just blogged about on other blogs. There is no need to follow other blog feeds unless you are searching for new product retailers as information sources.

We make a strong effort to pay very close attention to really good SEO standards including tagging, titling, long tail keywords, and keyword saturation with a main goal of increasing site traffic and advertisement sales. Our goal is to have at least 2 pictures per post (more is even better) with a max size of 500 px wide. The images have to be High Quality and Great Looking!!

Our focus is to cover products people look for on the internet to do research on and BUY! We already employ a writer on the site to cover a wide subject matter but your position will be different so don’t use all of the current content as an example of what you will be doing. We cover every type of product available so you may do a story on a baby high chair one day, and sofa the next, followed up by the latest technology in Bar Be Que Grills after that. If it has a “price tag” and goes in anywhere inside or outside of a home, apartment, or a commercial business setting, we need it on the site.

We cover the most Iconic pieces from renowned designers and architects that are part of the design world’s “establishment”, to the most cutting edge products from the up and coming designers of the day. We will provide a long list of the “types of products” we will need to cover but you are certainly not limited to these.
