I’m looking for writers who own an iPad and are passionate about apps and accessories. The site will be covering a broad range of topics, from high profile games and apps to physical hardware accessories; tutorials and howtos; news and reviews.

The site will be starting from nothing, and the pay is $7 / post (paid at the end of each month, via paypal); this will rise to $10 once the site hits 100k impressions, as well as a small amount to spend on apps. Articles expected to be 400-800 words, with high-res images. You must post at least once a week initially, to a maximum of 10/month.

There will be occasional promo codes or maybe free stuff, but at the start you will need to write about apps or accessories you already own. Suggested titles will also be given for tutorial topics or apps round-ups etc. You’ll get full recognition for your articles with author information at the bottom of each post, where you can promote your own site and social account.

The job:
This role will require you work on behalf of our authors to pitch ideas to our content partners and customers. You will also be responsible for working with a creative team to delight them with our services–managing the process from qualification to closure. Excellent writing and research skills are critical for this role. The most successful candidates will be widely read, have an interest in reading content online daily, take ownership of hitting a weekly goal and are capable of managing multiple projects at once. You can expect: a fast paced, collaborative and friendly culture with high expectations that can at times be intense.

You will have ample opportunity to prove yourself, and substantial performance is quickly rewarded with growth and greater responsibility. This is a contract position with constant full-time responsibilities until end of July.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer and partner relationships via email
- Develop creative pitches and collaborate with a creative team to deliver
- Develop a point of view, review and subjectively provide feedback to the creative team
- Manage multiple projects at once and juggle the requirements of each in real-time

Key Qualifications:
- You need to first and foremost have the ability to quickly decipher information from a webpage/blog.
- Bachelors degree in marketing, journalism, creative writing or related field
- Minimum 1-3+ years of previous work experience with developing content, executing content heavy marketing programs, working at a marketing agency or as a rep in an inside sales role

Highly Desired:
- Excellent writing skills–we will test this before we hire you
- Strong oral communication skills
- The ability to remain self-directed and goal oriented
- Motivated to learn and an ability to take constructive feedback to improve yourself
- Excellent grasp of the English language including grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Proven ability to win in situations where only 1% come out on top
- Mastery of word processing, spreadsheets, Internet browsing, e-mail and other related software or SAAS solutions

Description

I’m looking for 2 to 3 distinct, unique voices to join me as collaborators at my blog.

It’s called “More About That,” and I’m especially interested in a conversational feel to your posts. I’ve written about everything from business plans to Castle, and I’m just as open to ideas from my fellow writers.

Initially I’d like you to contribute 1 to 2 posts per week, and I will pay $5 to $10 per piece based on word count. Long-term (within 6 months) I plan to make contributors profit partners and pay higher per post – so the more readers you can bring with you, the better!
